Upgraded my cargo lamp (amongst others: see license thumb lamps) to bright ass LED bulbs so the next time some other asshat is behind be with high beams on I can blind them as well with a push-o de-button.

Shitty before pics:

In 10k miles the license lamp bulbs were burning yellow through dark burnt looking bulbs. FCA QWALITEE!

I also upgraded the reverse lamps, and the rear dome (front is already LED) but I don’t like it.

The fronts are yellow-ish tinted and can’t be replaced, and the LED bulb in the back is SUPER white and bright. I might just send them back, since I had to buy a multi-pack and have no use for the other bulbs.

LOL at a truck of all things being worried about being blinded by other people’s lights.  99.9% of time when I’m being blinded from behind it’s a giant truck like that.

One time my wife was riding with me in my car at night and she complained about the glare from oncoming traffic’s headlights. “WHY ARE ALL THESE TRUCKS DRIVING AROUND WITH THEIR BRIGHTS ON????”

I had to remind h er that those were their regular headlights and we were just low to the ground.

That’s my point. Their lights are aimed in a normal car’s rear windscreen, so it seems silly for a truck owner to complain of the same where even truck lights will hit his tailgate .
